A Taste Of Steppin Instruction" features R&B'dance instructions from different regions. Viewers are drawn into a lively and fun filled hour of great dance and dance instruction by top dance instructors. The video is direct very simple with easy to follow instructions. These instructions come from The hit TV program "Steppin' At The New Dance Club on 7". During it's two hot years of running on ABC's WLS TV in Chicago and Lousiville, "Steppin' at Club 7" took over and held the number one position in it's time slot. There were a few times when Club 7's ratings beat David Letterman and The Tonight Show, both which ran at 10:30 PM, compared to Club 7's 1:30 AM time slot. The ratings for Steppin's last season were impressive: Source: 3rd quarter, Nielsen: 2.5 rating with a 12 share. African-American households: 10.7 with a 18 share. "A Taste Of Steppin Instruction" is hosted by Ken Watkins and many of Chicago's best dance instructors. Our Steppin' dance instructors were featured on Oprah Winfrey, Fox News and NBC Network News. Recently Hollywood got into the act' and featured Herb Kent and our Steppen'dancers in the movie "Love Jones" as did Gerald Levert feature Steppers in his last video. The program is currently on TV 25 in Chicago and TV 24 in Louisville Ky.
