This album was created and recorded during two different forms of government, more exactly before and after the Romanian Revolution of December 1989. So, "Iris IV" is one of the very few Romanian albums that belong to both communist and democratic climates. The album and its song "You, Only You" were released in 1990, after Nicolae Ceauşescu and his dictatorship were abolished. "You, Only You" is a song influenced by the middle 80's musical style of the heavy metal group Judas Priest. Here we have a promotional video of this song, in which we can see how the nation's capital, Bucharest, looked after the Romanian Revolution - a bloody and dramatic event that left numerous "scars". Before the Revolution Iris was one of the main cultural resistances in Romania, so they were warned, censored and forbidden many, many times. But the year of 1990 marked a new beginning for this rock group, in a free world.
